The #1 reason people live in Ponte Vedra and visit the area is the beach! Yet Ponte Vedra is one of the only beach communities in the entire State of Florida without a renourishment program.  The Ponte Vedra coastline is being left to erode away. 

The economics of Ponte Vedra’s beach is significant to the businesses and residents of St Johns and surrounding counties.  Considering the community’s very significant contribution to the area’s tax base and the reliance on the beach to continue generating those tax dollars, the county’s longstanding neglect of Ponte Vedra’s beach must end. Enough is enough.
